Biography
Giulia Michieletto (Member, IEEE ) received the Laurea Degree in Automation Engineering (October 2014) and the Ph.D. Degree (February 2018) in Information Engineering from the University of Padova, Italy, where she is currently Researcher with the Department of Management and Engineering.
From March 2016 to February 2017, she was a Visiting Researcher at LAAS-CNRS, Toulouse, France.
From February 2018 to November 2019, she was a post-doc fellow with the SPARCS group at the Department of Information Engineering, University of Padova, Italy, collaborating with various national and international academic realities.
In 2016 she participated in the Eiffel Scholarship Program of Excellence promoted by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development, and in 2019 she was one of the finalists of IEEE Robotics & Automation Society Italian Chapter “Fabrizio Flacco” Young Author Bes Paper Award.
She is responsible for publicity and dissemination of the Technical Committee on Multi-Robot Systems (TC MRS) of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society
Her main research interests include the multi-agent systems modeling and control with special regard to networked formations of aerial vehicles and nanosatellites, and the design, modeling, and control of thrust-vectoring aerial platforms with improved maneuverability for environment interaction.
