Biography
Mirco Rampazzo received the Laurea degree in Electrical Engineering in 2005 and the Ph.D. degree in Information and Communication Science and Technologies in 2010, both from the University of Padova, Padova, Italy. He was a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Information Engineering at the University of Padova from 2010 to 2019. He held visiting positions at the Luleå University of Technology and the ICE RISE SICS North, Sweden, in 2018. Since 2019 he holds a position of Assistant Professor at the Department of Information Engineering at the University of Padova. He carries out his research in the field of advanced control applications with particular emphasis on HVAC&R systems. He takes part in scientific and industrial collaborations. He has authored / co-authored several papers on international journals and proceedings of
international conferences. He is co-inventor of patents on the use of advanced control techniques in different applications fields. He is member of SIDRA, IEEE, and IFAC - Industry Committee (IndCom).
Teaching activity: he has taught classes on Advanced Control Systems, Signals and Systems, Control Systems Theory, Feedback Control Theory, Control Laboratory, and Tools for Scientific Computing and Engineering Applications. He has tutored/co-tutored the activities of several M.Sc. and B.Sc. students, Ph.D. students, and postdotoral researchers. He carried out continuing education activities at industries and associations.
